Well, I know that not many people still read this but.. things are still going on with the house. We are refinancing it.

We are also still having inspections from the city believe it or not.

The plumber just NOW got is final on everything and the electrician didn't include an extra permit he pulled in his final so that got taken care of today also.

Well, come to turn out I've been on "temporary utilities"  for a few months and the permit for that has expired. So in my research to figure out how to solve that problem I found out that I have to have an inspection for the general remodeling permit I pulled. So... that is tommorow, although I don't know what they are going to be looking for.

We shall see.....

We did close on our next rehab today. We won't be starting it for a couple weeks probably. I'll fill you in soon enough.

We got a full price (184,900) offer on the house yesterday. But they wanted us to pay their closing costs.

We're still set on moving into it though.

We'll I've left everyone hanging for too long.

The update is that we have sold the house.

The kicker is that we sold it to ourselves.  We are refinancing it and moving into it at the end of the month.

In all the time I've had the sign in the yard, I got about 5 phone calls, 2 emails and one offer on the house (170k offer)

I know the house would sell quickly if we did more advertising or put it in MLS, but we really like the house and are looking forward to building up even more equity.

Stay Tuned...

Been a long time since I posted pictures of the house so...

Carlos came by today to patch a crack in the ceiling in the living room. Turns out it was not an old crack, but a new one right next to an old one. I have a theory that since this house has never had central ac there are some weird things going on in the house since it's kept at 78* now. The hardwood floors have even opened up a bit in some places.

He found some VERY minute cracks in the masterbedroom that he is fixing also.

We're still trying to sort out the electrical situation.

Looks like we're going to have to go back to 2 prong outlets throughout the house and put 3 prong GFCI outlets where needed.

I've been keeping the info tube full of flyers and have had 2 couples look at the house.

I'll have some "news" for you by the end of the week.
